Lives Touched by God at our 2nd Festival of Praise
On Saturday, August 20th, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Wickliffe, The Cleveland Catholic Forum held its first Festival of Praise, Avenues of Grace. Modern Christian Praise Music – similar to music heard on 95.5 The Fish - was provided by Dr. Steve Kebe and the Catholic Praise Revival from Columbus, OH. The talented musicians led a large crowd of all ages in praise to upbeat and moving music. 9 priests were in attendance to hear confessions, to lay hands and pray, and to participate in the evening’s events.
The reflective and powerful music, testimonials, and sermon moved those in attendance.
However, nothing was as moving as the presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist and the candle lit procession before the Eucharist. Lives were touched by God in an amazing way. At the conclusion of the event refreshments were served and people shared their joys of the evening.
We at The Cleveland Catholic Forum would like to thank all of those that came to our first Festival of Praise. The inspiring testimonials of God’s love that we received are a great blessing and proof that God’s love is real and powerful. It brings great joy to our hearts to know that this event welcomed people back to the Church – back to the heart of Christ; that people were healed of pain and they grew in faith.
